I’ve spent the past decade photographing wildlife, primarily birds. The galleries in the bird section below are organized by group (Warblers or Owls, EG) or location (the Boreal Forest of Maine, or Mexico, for instance.) Many of the photos within the galleries are annotated with info about the species, or stories about finding the bird and making the photo.

I also study the Lepidoptera of New England, which is to say butterflies and moths. Although butterflies are actually moths! (check out the Blog post on this topic.) There are a few galleries with macro photos of these gorgeous creatures, along with natural history info and a story or two.

Large or small prints of all the photos are available per the cart next to the image. Cards are also popular and can be purchased in sets of 6, in either 3×5 or 4×6 format.
